Privacy Policy
Voyhound (“we,” “us,” the “House”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information — name, email, phone, address — when you write to us or engage our services.
- Relocation case details — dog name, breed, weight, medical history, origin and destination, timeline — when you start an intake or accept a quote.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. Voyhound does not store full card numbers or bank details.
- Document uploads — vaccination records, passports, and similar travel documents you provide to support your case.
- Site analytics — page views, device type, referring source. Collected via Vercel Analytics in an aggregated, non-identifying form.
2. How We Use It
- To prepare quotes and deliver relocation services.
- To communicate with you about your case.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.
- To improve our website and service quality over time.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with marketers.
3. Who We Share It With
We share the minimum personal information necessary with the third parties required to deliver your relocation:
- Veterinarians and government authorities along your route.
- Airlines, ground transport providers, and quarantine facilities.
- Service infrastructure providers — Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), and Anthropic (AI assistant) — under standard processor agreements.
- Government and legal authorities when compelled by valid legal process.
4. How We Store It
Case data is stored in encrypted databases hosted by Supabase. Documents are stored in encrypted object storage. Access is limited to the founder and any authorized team members required to deliver your case.
5. How Long We Keep It
We retain case data for as long as necessary to deliver the service and meet legal and tax obligations (typically seven years for financial records). You may request earlier deletion of non-financial records by writing to hello@voyhound.com.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability (receive a copy of your data in a usable format).
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@voyhound.com.
7. International Data Transfers
Because we operate internationally and our infrastructure spans multiple regions, your personal information may be processed in countries other than the one where you reside. We use providers that maintain appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies for site functionality and analytics. See our Cookie Notice for details.
9. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy. The current version is posted at this URL with the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
11. Contact
